A little While ago Apple put their beta of Safari 3 up on their site. I immediately downloaded it and played around with it. I found that it had a few minor improvements, but it was a bit buggy. I like Safari and always have liked it, it’s one of the fasted browsers out there and best of all, it works great on the Mac. The only issue with it is that you’ll still need to have FireFox handy for certain sites like Google Docs and a few others, I’m not sure why, but that’s not my job. Anyway so I was pretty sure there would be no point in using the buggy Safari beta until I found what the feature that I wish would be added to every app I use. The find option in Safari 3 is fucking amazing. Yes, that is the only reason I’m using the beta. So, how many times have you used Command+F and then you type in the word you are looking for and it says there are 5 matches or whatever, but you can’t find the highlighted word. Not an issue in Safari 3, it puts a big fucking orange box around the text so you’d have to be colorblind or stupid not to see the highlighted words. Thank you Apple, I fucking love you guys!
