I was going to follow universal music group on tumblr, then I saw this and realized I hate them.
Hate is a strong word, and since UMG owns some labels like Motown Records, I can’t use it on them. I can probably say that I haven’t liked over 95% of the music UMG and all its affliate labels have released in the past 10 years, however I understand that others disagree with my opinions.
That list of artists is what really bothered me.
Rhianna - Bad lyrics and tired dancehall beats.
Lil Wayne - no comment
The All-American Rejects - That song Get You Hell is the most retarded thing I’ve ever heard.
Akon - That sped up sample of Bobby Vinton really annoyed me.
50 Cent - I just can’t articulate how awful his music is.
Lady Gaga - I honestly have no idea who this is.
Fall Out Boy - horrible lyrics, and most of their songs sound the same. Also someone once said I looked like Pete Wentz and I was very offended.
Soulja Boy Tell’em - Obviously mentally handicapped and I think this exploitation of him is just terrible. He doesn’t know any better.
Taylor Swift - no comment
Kanye West - Ok, I’ll be honest, I like Kanye. He’s songs have terrible lyrics and his insanely egotistical, however some of his music is decent.
