And it has Google Street view, walking and public transit directions! Sure, it still won’t have copy and paste, and it won’t MMS, but I don’t care.
Seriously, Copy and Paste I can understand, it would be nice if I could take text from an email and add it to another email or do a Google search for it, but the iPhone software has solutions to those situations where you might want copy and paste. Like the data detectors in the Mail app, which will lets you tap any phone number in an email and asks you if you want to call it. So, sure, there are a few cases where copy and paste would be nice, but for now, It’s not a deal beaker. My question is, who wants MMS? The only reason to use MMS is to send photos and video to non-smartphones, or other phones that can’t support email. These non-smartphones usually have tiny screens or aren’t sophisticated enough to be used for email. So, I’m going to send an image from my iPhone, which looks decent, not great, but better than most cell phones, to my friends phone which won’t be able to display the image without distorting it somehow. There is no reason to add MMS to the iPhone, at all. If you want to send you friend a picture, email them and they’ll see it later.
