What happens when Obama comes to St. Louis.
Yeah, I’m just going to start referring to Obama as the President for now on. Yes, this race isn’t over. Yes, McCain could technically come back before the election. Yes, the Bradley effect might still be an issue. Yes, pigs could fly. You see, the last time a candidate in McCain’s position came back was Reagan. McCain is no Reagan. The conservatives don’t really like McCain, they just can’t vote for Obama, which I respect, as long as it’s not because of his race. The conservative republicans LOVED Reagan, like a lot, they still love him to this day. Reagan was running against Carter, who had an approval rating of 28% in 1980. So, history is working against McCain here.
Besides, Nancy Reagan never liked McCain and only endorsed him because he’s the republican candidate.
