p.s. so, i wonder if when they threw all the tea in the boston harbor if everybody with running water then (was there?) felt all jacked up that week. people were probably surfing their asses off- all that caffeine floating around.

There was no running water back then in 1773 (didn’t come until late 19th Century, early 20th). However, it wouldn’t have mattered much, because everyone drank tea back then anyway, EVERYONE. In fact, the Townshend Acts, which placed a tax on tea because soo many people bought it, was a part of the cause of the Boston Tea Party.

It’s kinda strange when you look at it, tea was one of the reason for the American Revolutionary War.
