Fixation
I got this for Christmas last month from my special lady. Technically, I got it for Christmas in 2001 from the company worked for, but it had since, years ago, been given away to someone in need of an iPod. This year, she got it back, wrapped it up and gave it to me.
I was infatuated with this device. Now, just running my fingers down those razor-sharp edges is enough to put me back on the G train, feeling around for the controls in the pocket of my huge winter coat because I couldn’t risk flaunting it. And to plug in the Firewire and power it up? That blue glow and stylish Chicago font? Forget it. I’m in another time and place. The only thing it’s missing (my music having since been replaced) is “Take California” by The Propellerheads.
Can’t get it to sync though.
