the offensive itunes ui strikes again.
when switching from the normal itunes window to the mini player, iTunes resizes the button elements. Does anyone think this is a good idea? Not only does it look horrendous to see the elements resize, it seems like a usability fail: I have iTunes “stuck” to the top left of my monitor. When I “minify” iTunes the buttons change where I have to click. If the window and other elements changed size, and the buttons remained, it’d be a much nicer user experience. IMHO.
I don’t really feel that this that big of an issue, it’s certainly not “offensive”. You don’t see the buttons resize because it just jumps between normal and mini-player. That said, the player probably should shrink around those buttons.
