I’ve been looking into getting advertising on extraview to make some money. I don’t want to do the stupid route and go with anything obtrusive and obnoxious, and it’s really hard. Out of all the ad people, I feel that the Deck is best, but I don’t think that they will let me in. There are 22 Deck sites, and Gruber and Kottke are two of them, so my chances are slim. They seem very elitist to me, though. I like that they are picky when it comes to who can advertise, but it seems like a “We’ll come to you” sort of them when it comes to joining.
