For whatever reason I feel obligated to check how Ubuntu is doing every six months or so. I’ve liked it in the past, but not nearly enough to ever consider using it as a full time operating system. I think the last version I actually installed on a computer was Ubuntu 7 (I didn’t mean I actually installed it when I checked up on it…), so I’m interested to see how Ubuntu 9.10 is. I’ve heard that is almost a worthy alternative to Snow Leopard and Windows 7, which is hard for me to believe.
