Jakob got some shit for using the .org TLD on his new site. Now, I agree with him that it’s stupid to make fun of him over it, saying ‘he’s trying too hard to be edgy’, but on the other hand, he does own the same URL in a .com. Personally, I’m curious as to why he would choose the .org over the .com as .com is more popular than .org. Maybe it is an organization… right now it’s nothing… just a half naked Jakob in a box (maybe a metaphor for unnecessary consumerism is our modern times?). Maybe, he just wanted to go with .org because it’s less common. However, there are so many people who use it just to be ‘edgy’ that while Jakob may have used it innocently, he looks look one of those people.
He also mentions unnecessary quotation usage. Really, can we just “stop” that bullshit.
