I ended up returning the Bamboo Touch. It’s a great concept, but a combination of bad software and poorly designed hardware makes it too cumbersome. So, I bought a Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX with “DARKFIELD” Technology.
There is a lot to like about this mouse, but I was really impressed with the software. Not only can you customize the global functions of everything on the mouse, but you can specify functions within applications very intuitively. For example, the left and right scroll tilt buttons typically scroll to the left and right, but in iTunes, I made them control the volume.
