An interesting series of events that just happened made me want to write this, I may expand upon it later. I was on Twitter and saw dotben (ben metcalfe) post some video’s he recorded on seesmic, which is a cool new video site. I posted a twitter asking if anyone had an invite (I also signed up for one) and minutes later recieved and email from Loic Le Meur, founder of seesmic, with an invite code. That was pretty cool. Then I went and checked out the site, it’s a really nice video site that’s focus is recording quick videos and sharing them easily. What I like best about the site is that they aren’t competing with anyone. They have an option on the site to share your video with youtube! how cool is that? now I don’t like youtube so I suggested in email to Loic that he should contact vimeo, as it’s my video site of choice. He seemed to like the idea. I really like it when people want to make something cool and not bother trying to compete with anyone
