I’m watching this movie now. I think it’s going to be pretty good, but the opening sequence was pretty awful. I know I care about fonts more than a normal person should, but the fonts in this movie are all over the place. The poster used Helvetica, and used it well, but the opening of the film had a thin handwritten font in yellow. Then, the studio name was written in a serif font that was too small and close together, and it was in a terrible green with a dark stroke around it. The worst part was when the handwritten font turned into the font in this picture. When I say “turned into”, I mean it looked like someone used flash and did one of those cheesy transformation tweens.
