I’m surprised and yet I’m not.
I heard Jesse Thorn talking about these guys on Jordan, Jesse, Go!. They do awesome work. If you print your business cards on Avery perforated paper with an ink jet printer, it’s time you stop dicking around get some professionally letterpressed cards on heavy stock.
Look at that subtle off-white coloring. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my God, it even has a watermark!
Holy crap, there are some awesome people involved in this: David Lynch, Fred Seibert, Morgan Spurlock, M.I.A., Ze Frank, and Lawerence Lessig, just to name a few.
The Awards are going to be in October and I’ll be living in New York then, so I’ll have to see if I can go to this. I expect epic awesomeness.
I mentioned my new earphones earlier, but these are my other earphones. Etymotic’s ER•4P earphones which, despite feeling like someone is trying to shove their fingers into your ear canals, will give you amazing sound quality. I just pulled mine out after neglecting them for a while and it’s scary how good they sound.
Urbanears Medis, my new earphones. I was looking for a pair of affordable headphones with a mic and a remote… and audio quality that was better than the Apple earphones. They don’t sound as good as my Etymotics, which I don’t use with my phone because they lack a remote and mic, but for $40 (MSRP is $50) they sound good enough and they’re pretty comfortable and very stylish (they come in a variety of colors, but I bought black because I’m boring.).
