– “Kihei West Side” making a clearly racist review of Obama’s The Audacity of Hope in iTunes. He also goes on to say Obama is against nuclear power, which is untrue, and that it “is the cleanest, most effective, longest lasting, productive energy source that we know of,”...

MCAS Student Work/Scoring Guides - Massachusetts... →
This might say something about me that I thought this was funny, but here you can look at examples of student work from previous MCAS (Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System, just Google it) tests. You can see what answers received a 4 (full credit) and what received a 0 (no credit). Looking at the responses that received 0’s is funny and also a little bit depressing).

WatchWatch
Something just made me think about this. This a collection of clips from 9/11. The news before, during, and after it happened. It’s the most chilling video I’ve ever seen online, and watching it makes me remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when it happened. Wow, just fucking unbelievable.

Watching this movie right now, it’s different than any other Michael Moore movie (ie. no sarcastic voice over), it’s actually really interesting. I’d consider my self a MM fan. Yes, there are inaccuracies in his films, and he tends to exaggerate, but they all bring up great points and for all the crap there is a lot of great information. At the very least the make you think. ...

Fox News
I love watching Fox News, literally everything they say wrong. It’s like watching Bizzaro News. Like right now, they keep saying Obama is loosing ground. Excuse me? I guess I don’t know much about maths, but I’m pretty sure Obama is still ahead in the polls. Also, some lady named Kisten Powers is trying to say McCain lying about Obama in the ads is fine. I hate these people....

textbooks
nikography: i would feel just a little bit better about spending so much on college textbooks if they didn’t feel like the cheapest quality printing possible, making for awful reading experiences. The reason they cost so much is because of the licensing fees for the works inside. If they upped the print quality, they’d cost twice as much.

Religions I respect for strange reasons
marco: Judaism: There’s no sales pitch. No recruiting team. Nobody spamming me in the subway, coming to my door, or yelling at me on the street. If I want to learn anything about Judaism, I can just ask the many Jewish people I know. They’ve always been happy to answer my questions (often with refreshingly sensible explanations), but if you don’t ask, you’re never bothered or inconvenienced by...

I started watching SNL again because my cousin is a writer (I think I’ve mentioned that before), and still I have to agree that the show sucks. There are a lot of talented people working there, I just hope they don’t get stuck there like Darrell hammond

Tumblr Message to Tumblr HQ
I would like to compliment David on the choice of colors that were secretly swapped into the Tumblr design, makes it feel more friendly. Normally I wouldn’t assume who was responsible for what in a company, but I’m pretty sure I can safely say that Marco is not responsible for anything design related at Tumblr. (I’m sorry)
